After selling my dedicated astro camera and asiair because I no longer could lump my imaging set up down to the ground floor from my flat, I bought a Seestar S50 for quick impromptu sessions and taking further afield when I go out with my dslr setup.

Here is M51 taken on my second night in Delabole, Cornwall with the Seestar S50 just under 2 hours of 10 second images in alt az mode.

Though it isn't as good as my imaging set up was I am still very impressed with the Seestar even in alt az mode. Looking forward to trying eq mode soon.
