NGC6823 in Vulpecula
August 19, 2025
A small chunk of NGC 6823 in Vulpecula (little fox in Latin) This is a huge emission nebula also in Vulpecula. I Imaged this one over four nights in August 2025 from my back garden. This exposure is just over 19 hours and made up from the Hydrogen (9 hours) Oxygen (6 hours) and Sulphur (4 hours)
Equipment used was my Skywatcher 200P, resign on the AM5 mount, ASI Air for acquisition and Altair 3nm SHO filters. Pixinsight for processing. The addition of a Starizona .75 reducer brings my focal length down to 750mm at f3.5.
